Visiting Portland Architects Honored at Dinner Tuesday Members of the Portland Ameri can Institute of Architects, togeth er with the Oregon Society of Landscape Architects, visited the Oregon campus Tuesday. A dinner honoring these men was held at the Anchorage Cafe, followed by a business meeting at which time guest speakers were introduced. Pietro Bellusehi, Portland archi tect who designed the Equitable Building, a Fellow in the Ameri can Institute of Architects, spoke t o the members on “Domestic Architecture.’’ Bellusehi was followed by Glenn Stanton, another Portland archi tect who is first vice president of the AIA. And as the shad ows silently sing on another Saturday, watch from the fu ture while Joe squeezes his girl goodnight, kisses the horn bulb, and is off in a shower of bolts. These recordings were brought back from the Huston, Texas meeting by Dean Sidney Little, head of the Architecture School at the University. Oregana Retakes To Finish Nov. 23 Oregana picture retakes begin Nov. 21 and end on the 23. After that time no individual pictures will be taken for the 1950 Oregana. Picture schedule for this week includes Hendricks Hall today, and Merrick Hall tomorrow. Seniors living off campus or in Susan Campbell Hall should have their pictures taken before the Nov. 23 deadline.
