Local IFC Officers to Attend Meeting Two University students, Fred Van Horn and Irving Steinbock, will attend a Western Regional Interfraternity Conference in Pull man, Wash., Nov. 9 through 12. Van Korn is president and Stein bock secretary of the University Interfraternity Council. Washington State College and the University of Idaho will be joint hosts for the conclave. k ■■ ! Unusual Garb Seen (Continued from page seven) dates went on a hayride before the dance. “Snowbound” was the theme of the Chi Omega dance, and ski clothes were worn. The house rep resented a ski lodge, with a cheery fire in the fire-place and skis, and sleds lining the walls. The windows were frosted to add to the effect of a cold winter night. Tables in the dining room were covered with red and white checked tablecloths, and apples and pop corn were served. The couples danced the Raspa and Schottish, which highlighted the evening. The Alpha Gamma Deltas danc ed in an “Enchanted Forest.” The living room was decked with gold trees and silhouettes of deer. Little pixies and pixie houses decorated the entrance hall. A four-piece or chestra furnished the music. This was a formal affair. Girls' V-Ball (Continued from page seven) mately 260 girls are playing in the tournament. Sharing the spotlight in women’s sports is the badminton tourna ment, with Colleen Roberts as manager. Thirty-seven girls are participating in the tournament which is quite an increase over last year’s turn-out. Games are played on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and Saturday mornings.
