i ate work in retailing was lauded
I by Bill Green and Bert Tonkin, ’49

j H. Cornish, professor of business
[administration.
Tonkin and Green, both winners
of retail service and tuition schol

Both students feel that the back

I aids immensely in graduate work
and part-time store service, Cornish
stated.
They also commented on the
progress of other scholarship win
ners who are working in New York

ong former students listed were
Bill Shroud, Fred Weber, and

“The University of Oregon has

any other school in the country
except New York University it
self,’’ Cornish declared.
