The purpose of this program, es tablished several years ago, is to promote the University through out the state. The program, supported by con tributions from state and local units of Oregon Dads and Oregon Mothers’ clubs, and the Oregon Federation and alumni, enables high school seniors to get a glimpse of the University without actually vistiing the campus. Each year, according to Miss Yevtich, thank-you letters are re ceived by the Oregana from many | high schools, indicating the success of the program. There are approxi mately 250 high schools in the state, and each one receives an! Oregana. The price of the yearbook is re duced to $2.50 for this purpose, and Miss Yevtich believes the or ganizations which underwrite this project deserve special credit. Contributions for this program, which is an appealing way of drawing high school graduates to the University, according to Miss Yevtich, are received all year from the local clubs. Trofessor Frank W. Tate, for mer U. instructor, visited the cam r ! pus yesterday. Mr. Ttate is now ! teaching at WSC.
