They have been active in the Millrace Association, both vocally and financially. Voters of the City of Eugene have designated funds for the res toration of the race, to be matched by the Association. Part of the matching funds have been raised. But before any work can be done, all easements must have been re leased: by owners of property adja cent to.the race. At the present time, the associa tion is holding a last, two-week drive for the remaining easements. They are all members of the famous French poodle family. ir Women's Organizations Hold Joint Installation The combined installation of all University women’s organizations was held March 31 in alumnae hall, Gerlinger at 7 p. m. About 300 peo ple attended the candle light cere mony which introduced the new of ficers for AWS, YWCA, and WA*A. Among the special guests for the evening were Mrs. Harry K.. New burn, Mrs. Golda Wickham, Mrs. Lois Greenwood, and Miss Jean nette Masilionis. The new presidents of the three organizations are Marie Lombard, AWS; Billijean Reithmiller, YWCA and Bonnie Gienger, WAA. Beverly Pitman acted as mistress of ceremonies for the evening.
