Young GOPs Slate Meeting Delegates to the state Young Republican convention will be chosen by the campus group at their meeting Thursday, 6:45 p.m., in 101 Oregon. The convention was called for December 3, 4, and 5 by State Chairman Steve Anderson. It will be held in Salem. Proposals for the Young Repub lican representatives to present to the convention as well as dele gates’ instructions will be dis cussed at the Thursday meeting. All Republicans and interested students are welcome to attend the meeting. Kailes MAPPARELBBM1044 Wft Education Groups Plan Coffee Hour A coffee hour for education ma jors and members of the school of education faculty is being planned by Pi Lambda Theta and Phi Delta Kappa, national education honor aries, for next Monday afternoon from 4 to 5. This is the first coffee hour sponsored by the group this term, and they hope to plan a similar event every month. Team Welcomed, Roses for Coach A horseshoe of 50 red roses was presented on behalf of the Oregon student body to Coach Jim Aiken last Saturday by the rally squad at an airport assembly. The rally, welcoming back the football team frorn their victorious UCLA game, was covered by local radio stations, and several members of the football team and Aiken were interviewed.
