Greek Fantasy' Pageant Theme The first performance of “Greek Fantasy,’’ Amphibian pageans, will be tomorrow night at 8 in the men’s pobl. New effects in lighting, costumes, and scenery will be fea tured in the three act program, according to Joan Carr, chairman. The first act, “Olympia,” will in clude “The Dance of the Weavers” and “The Dance of the Grape Pick ers” with choreography by Betsy Moffett, and “The Three Nymphs.” Act II, entitled “Hades,” will in clude “Duet of the Devils” with Miss Moffett and Janet Harris, “Hades” by Joan Carr, and “Phan tom of Jealousy,” a solo by Miss Carr. “Kingdom Under the Sea,” Act III, wtll be composed of “Mermaids Plunge” by Dixon Sheldon, “Dance of the Queen” by Harriet Minot, and finale, “Under the Sea.” Money from the tickets, which are selling for 50 cents in the Co op, will go towards new costumes, stage settings, lights, and swim suits for the Amphibians. Committee heads for the pageant include Harriet Minot, co-chair man; Joanne Skordahl, programs; Liz Sanford, tickets; Betsy Moffett and Adeline Erlick, decorations; Janet Harris and Pat Neilson, mu sic and PA system; and Dean Shel don, lighting. A second performance of the pageant will be given Thursday night. Carnival Petitions Due November 24 Petitions for the WAA Car nival next February are due next Wednesday, November 24, by 5 p.m., was announced by Bep Mc Courry, WAA president. Applications are being accept ed for general chairman and the heads of other committees in cluding finance, decorations, booths, publicity, posters, prop erties, arrangements, tickets, clean-up, food, and dance. Petitions may be turned in to Miss McCourry at the Delta Gamma house or Anne Goodman at the Emerald news office. The Greeks are in favor of any plan which will help solve those problems. ‘‘But we don’t see how this, plan will solve any problems.
