Madelon Adler, freshman in the
school of music here.

Pastor to Discuss
Recordings of Bible
Rev. Svendsen, pastor of the
Emmaus Lutheran church, will
lead the discussion on “Recordings
of the Bible” Sunday evening at
Luther house.
The topic will be presented at
the regular supper meeting of the
Lutheran Student association.
Heading the devotional services
will be Jay Reese. Chairmen for
the evening are Lloyd Berg and
Ethel Anderson.

Amphibs Offer
Water Pageant
Thirty girls in bathing suits will
be featured at the annual Amphibi
an water pageant next Wednesday
and Thursday nights, to be held at
the men’s pool. Tickets are now
available for 50 cents at the Co-op.
They are also being sold by mem
bers of Amphibians. The pageant
entitled “Greek Fantasy,” will be
composed of three acts, “Olympia,”
“Hades,” and “Kingdom Under the
Sea.” —
Entrance to the swimming club,
according to Joan Carr, president is
awarded only to those who pass a
rigid test which includes form,
speed, diving and endurance.
Gamma Delt Meets
Gamma Delta, Lutheran student
organization, will meet at Grace
Lutheran church, Eleventh and
Ferry tomorro wat 5:30 for a cost
supper and meeting. ReV. E. D.
Busch of Springfield will lead the
discussion. All students are invited
to attend.
YW Bulletin Appears
The first edition of this year’s
Winniette, the YWCA weekly bul
letin, will be distributed all next
week. Edited by Pat Finnegan and
a Tuesday freshman commission,
the bulletin contains news of the
commission groups for the past
week.

To Speak Monday
Two doctors from the Univer-, |

be on the campus Monday to give
informal talks to prospective den-'
tal school students.
Dr. Harold J. Noyes, dean of the
dental school and Dr. Ellis Jump,
chairman of the admissions com
mittee at the dental school will
speak at 7:30 in 105 McClure hall.
