Band to Travel To UW Game; Concert on Way University of Oregon band will play for next week’s Oregon-Wash ington game and for a Friday ev ening rally immediately after ar riving in Seattle, according to Di rector John Stehn. Leaving this morning at 8, the band will spend the next two days in travel. In addition to its Satur day appearance in the Washington stadium, the band will perform at several Washington and Oregon towns en route. Appearances will be made at Salem high school, Ore gon City, Portland, and Vancouver Washington. A rally parade will start Satur day morning'from the band’s quar ters at Seattle’s Frye hotel, con tinuing through city streets. Prac tice will be held in the stadium prior to the game. Ticket Winners Posted in Co-op Students eligible to attend the OSC game will find their names posted on lists in McArthur court, the library and Co-op tomorrow through Sunday. They are requested to check during these days to see if their name is entered. Next Monday those persons whose last names begin with A through H may purchase their tickets at McArthur court. The 'Voice Like a Cello' Carol Brice, contralto, who will sing tonight at 8:15 in McArthur court. Miss Brice’s program appears below. (Also see story on page one.) Tuesday following those whose names start with I through P may buy tickets, and Wednesday, those whose names begin with Q through Z.
