On the right is the new theater, which will have a seating capacity of 420. The wing will be built of reinforced concrete, and will be connected to Viliard by a workshop. Viliard hall will be remodeled inside to house the speech, drama and radio departmntments. Building Superintendent I. I. Wright estimated that the first and second floor classrooms of Villard will be ready for nse by winter term, 'file theater should be completed by fall 1949. Construction was started early in July. Annand and Kennedy of Portland are the architects. Contractors are James and Yost of Portland. 227on Spring Honor Roll; 12 4-points Portland students led the spring term honor roll with 59 listed and 13 making perfect grade point av erages. Eugene was second with 56 on the roll and 12 with a 4.00 GPA. Made up of the 227 students making a grade point average of 3.50 or better, honor roll lis'teees were enrolled with a minimum of 12 term hours. Four-point students from Port land were: Morris J.
