Officers Tonight
Nominations for positions in the
Independent Students association
will be made tonight at 7:30 in 105
Commerce.
Petitions for the office of presi
dent, vice president, or senior, jun
ior and sophomore representative
may be turned in today to either
Joe Conroy, Sherry Ross hall, or
Bob Davis, Stan Ray hall. They
must be accompanied by eligibility
certificates and 20 signatures by
independent students.
Nominees will be placed in the
election to be held May 28 by all
independents. Qualifications for of
fice aree:
President, 75 term hours (30 at
the University).
Vice president, same as pres
ident.
Senior representatives, 3 terms,
110 hours.
Junior representatives, 2 terms,
74 to 110 hours.
Sophomore representatives, 2
terms, 24 to 73 hours.
French Club Elects
Fall Term Officers
President Beverly J. Rohrer
headed the list of new officers of
the French club, Les Thelemites,
it was announced yesterday by re
tiring President Elizabeth Kratt.
John L. Palmer, freshman in lib
eral arts, was elected vice-presi
dent and Glenn C. Morgan, junior
in political science, was elected sec
retary-treasurer.

American Association of Univer

spring term banquet and business
meeting Monday at the Faculty
club.
