ADS Pledges Take the Vow These seven pledges are taking the final step of the formal initiation into Alpha Delta Sigma, Men’s National Advertising honorary. Independent elections will be held May 28. All Independent students are eligible to vote. Joe Conroy, Sherry Ross hall, and Bob Davis, Stan Ray hall, will receive petitions. Steve Button, Sigma Chi, re ceived 21 votes to win the sopho more representative nomination from Kelly Ferris, Sigma Phi Epsi lon, who got 16 votes. The pic nic grounds may be used only when rented. Mrs. Hazel Kiencele, his daughter, said. There was no vote, because, the other two candidates, Owen Bently, Alpha I Tau Omega, and Wes Nicholson, Theta Chi, were withdrawn. Marvin Horenstein, Sigma Alpha Mu, drew 23 votes to win the nom ination for yell king, after defeat ing George Watkins, Phi Delta The ta, who received 13 votes. Jack Countryman, Kappa Sigma, and Wayne Ferguson, Delta Upsilon, were withdrawn as candidates. : 5 1 i I _ Tri-Delts Plan Pansy Ring Party For Engaged Senior Women A seven-foot ring^made of pan sies will be part of the annual Del ta Delta Delta breakfast planned for Sunday morning at the chapter house to honor engaged senior wo men on the campus. After the 9 o’clock breakfast, Russell’s store will present a style show including spring fashions sug gested for a trousseau. Music num bers will be given by Elizabeth and Mary Stadelman. Next on the program is the ring ceremony narrated by Joan Ram bo. She will read the name of each senior woman and her finance who will step through the pansy ring. The ceremony is scheduled for 10 o’clock Sunday morning and is open to the public. Participants in the ceremony in cluse Jessica Bartels, Janis Garris son, Beryl Howard, Beverly How ard, Mary McClintock, Adelaide Schooler, Cecilia Sensor, Janet Shoffer, and Barbara Williams.
