-Slides to Show National Parks Kodachrome slides of the U. S. national parks will be shown by J. C. Stovall of the geography de partment this afternoon at 4 p.m. in the browsing room. Stovall will discuss Yellowstone, Black Hills, the Bad Lands of Wy oming, the Grand Canyon, Zion and Brice parks, Canyon DeChelley, and many others. These lectures will be given by members of the faculty on the last Tuesday of each month, and are sponsored by the House Librar ians association, under the leader ship of Miss Bernice Rise, readers’ consultant of the library. Five-foot three, with blue eyes .and dark brown hair, Barbara Stev enson, Kappa Alpha Theta, ASA number two candidate, has com bined activities and scholarship with a great deal of success, both at Grant high school and at the University. As a student at Grant, she was secretary of her senior class and was May fete queen. She was an officer in several clubs and re ceived both the Diamond and Jour nal awards for scholarship. In her college career, Barbara has so far been equally busy. Her GPA for the past term was a near perfect 3.94. She was president of her Theta pledge class, chairman of a “Y” commission, and has worked on the business staffs of the Oregana and Emerald. During Homecoming week she was chair man of decorations for the Bill Hayward fish fry. Her major is liberal arts, and she enjoys dancing and listening to records. Druids Sponsor Football Movies Movies of the Oregon-Stanforc football game played last Novem ber will be shown in room 20’ Chapman hall tonight. The firsl showing will begin at 6:30, with £ re-run scheduled at 7:05. There wil be no admission charge. Druids, junior men’s honorary is sponsoring the films.
