Palestine Friction
The Palestine situation will be
discussed by Plerbert Weiss, Jew
ish student from the Anglo- Egyp
tian Sudan, at a One World club
meeting at 8 p.m. in the Y1ICA.
Weiss, freshman in business ad
ministration, came to the United
States with his father who is now
an importer in New York.
Main issues of the talk will be
t ie Jewish-Arab friction in Pales
tine and adjacent countries.

ored by a party at the home of
Nancy Belts, 1893 Alder at 7 p.m.,
December 7, according to members
of the YWCA international affairs
committee.
The party is open to all students,
Dedo Misley and Laura Olson, co
chairmen, have announced. There
is to ee a Christmas tree and re
freshments served.
Students with no transportation
will meet at 6:45 p.m. at the Y
from where cars will take them to
the party.

man. The first picture showing be

The picture shows the ancient
catacombs and the martyrs being
thrown into the arena. The story is
about a blind girl arid the eruption
of Mt. Vesuvius.

YWCA bungalow at 7:15 p.m. and
