University Hour Presents Radio Plays Thursday The radio adaptations of two of Edgar Allan Poe’s eeriest myster ies, “A Cask of Amontillado” and “Fall of the House of Usher,” will be aired over the University Hour radio program Thursday at 4 p.m. Broadcast from the Uni versity radio workshop over sta tion KOAC, the mysteries will be directed by John MacDonald. Cast as players in the radio mys teries will be Ken Lomax, Bob Lit ten, Mary Esther Brock, Paul Fly man, Dick Nelson, Bill Pickens, Warren Dobbin, John Tasnady, Bob Houglum, and Virginia Avery, all of the radio workshop staff. The “Something For You” pro gram of popular music on Thurs , (day's University Hour will feature Robin Gilbert, liberal arts sopho more, on the piano. Gilbert's selec tions will include "Man I Love,” “Talk of the Town,” “As Time Goes By,” and “Music, Maestro, Please!” Gilbert will also join with the producer of the music pro gram, Shirley Peters, in a series of skits between the songs. S. West, admissions coun cil chairman of the University of Oregon medical school will hold a question and answer period for all students interested in pre-medical work Friday at 7 p.m. in 207 Chap man. This will be open for students who plan to apply this year or in the future to the medical school. Both pre-rmedical students and those not registered in pre-medical course are welcome.
