Mid-terms Mar
Park Attendance
Attendance at Skinner’s Butte
and Hendricks Park in Eugene
during October dropped far below
that of September, the park and
recreation bureau announced re
cently.
During September, a total of
4480 persons visited Skinner’s
Butte, but only about 2000 atten
ded last month. Compared with
SG00 in September, the attendance
at Hendricks Park was 1400 in
October.
Reasoning from this tidbit of
news, the campus coffee drinkers
offer the opinion that mid-terms
are responsible for turning the
September socialite into an attic
hermit.
