'Witches' to Vie In Classic Event If no witches ride across the heavens tonight it will be because they are unable to find a broom stick to ride upon. They will all he in action when the Chi Os and the Sig Eps tangle in their first annual “Ice Bowl" game at 7 p.m. at the local rink. The game is similar to ice hoc key except that brooms are sub stituted for sticks and a football for a puck. As far as action is concerned this will be the great granddad of all bowl games. Both sides are confident of vic tory in the knock-down, drag-out affair. Chi O coach Kay Schneider maintains her team has an advan tage in broom swinging which will more than offset any skating su periority that Winnie Carl's Sig Ep sextet may boast. The 11th street boys, on the other hand, claim their intra-mural football experience will be of greater value on the ice than the Chi O’s bag of field hockey tricks. To be sure, it will be run with :i minimum amount of kicking and biting. Rog Newton, the boy who skates backward faster than most people skate forward, will be on hand to officiate. A preliminary game at G will be played between the Phi Sigs an the Sig Eps. All athletic managers are urged to attend to plan form ulation of a men's league in the ice sport.
