University Hour Features Songs In'Shay-Style' Adele Collinson, singing in th( Dorothy Shay “Park Avenue Hil billie” style, will highlight the University Hour radio broadcas' over station KOAC this afternooi at 4 p.m. Collinson attracted wide notice after she sang her interpre tation of the Manhattan moun laineer at several recent campu: social affairs. One of her selections for today "You Made Me Love You,” was featured on her appearance this summer oyer the Studebaker “Or the Air” radio show in Portland Previously she had sung in USC tours through Oregon naval hos pitals. Listed in her program for to day is a Dorothy Shay favorite, “Say That We’re Sweethearts Again,” and “You Made Me Love You,” “Ain’t Misbehaving,” and “The Man I Love.” Sault Accompanies Accompanying Miss Collinson will be pianist Shirley Sault, whose own solos will include “Penthouse Serenade,” “Body and Soul," and "Someone To Watch Over Me.” The program will be produced by Harry White, with Bob Litten an nouncing. Also on the University Hour broadcast will be an interview of Richard and Thursa Revenaugh, Michigan couple who “biked and bussed” to Eugene this fall. The interviewer will be Bob Houglum. Completing the broadcast will play “The Man Who Came Through Windows,” produced by Ken Lomax. In the cast for the play will be Gene Deutschman, Bob Litten, Bob Houglum, John McDonald, and Helen Sigismund. A special program of medical re habilitation has been established by the Veterans Administration to assist approximately 30,000 World War II veterans who suffered hear ing impairments in service. Welcomes Comedy “It’s a welcome change to play Maggie Cutler,” said Marie, but added thooughtfully, “I do think that comedy is the harder to play because of the timing and phras ing.” The plot of the comedy centers on the attempts of her boss, Sheri dan Whiteside, played by Cliff James, to break up her romance with a young journalist, played bv Lavorn Taylor. Played a Siren As a freshman, Marie first ap peared in a French maid walk-on part in “Ladies of the Jury,” and from that progressed during her sophomore year through the role of an uninhibited mountain girl in “Dark of the Moon” to the siren Zeba in “Green Pastures” last year. An English major, she would like to work in radio after graduation.
