Oregon students, alumni, and prospective Webfoots will take
over Jantzen Beach park in Portland Thursday, August 21 for
the annual summer get-together and picnic sponsored by the
Oregon Federation under the direction of Harry Glickman,

Featured attractions in addition to a tempting picnic lunch,

Inside information has it that a
rugged tug o’ war is brewing.

supply, for while 15,000 invitations
have been distributed, Mr. E. W.
Grenfell, president of the Portland
Dads’ club, says there will be plenty
of food for all comers.
Co-chairmen Jordis Benke and
Bob Chaney have invited noted
Oregon personalities on the campus
to say hello to the class of ’52, risk

gon’s hard driving grid mentor, will

The lighter side of college life
