Religious Chairman
Tom Hazzard, junior in liberal j
arts, was elected student chairman
of the University Religious council
last week at its annual dinner at the
Faculty club.
Other officers are Jim Molener,
adult secretary; Beryl Howard, stu
dent secretary; and Kelly Hamil
ton, treasurer.
The ten members at large select
ed by U.R.C. for next year are Joan
Williams, Harry Glickman,. How
ard Lemons, Bev Pitman, Joe Con
roy, Clell Conrad, Marty Pond,
Barbara Borrevick, Carl Maxey,
and Ann Whitaker.

gon, both provided to all graduating
seniors. .
Tickets for the alumni luncheon
in John Straub hall on Saturday,
June 14, will also be available to all
seniors and their guests, Anderson
said.
All of the above material will be
available at the alumni office after
June 1. The office will be open each
day except Saturday from 8 a.m.
to 12 noon, and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.,
until June 13.
Herbert Butt to Speak
To University Fellowship
Herbert Butt, associate general
secretary of the International In
tervarsity Christian fellowship, will
•conduct a series of Bible lectures at
6:30 p)in. Wednesday and Thursday
in room 304 library, under the spon
sorship of the local fellowship chap
ter.
A graduate of the University of
Washington, Butt also attended the
Dallas, Texas, theological seminary.
Since' completing his ministerial
training, he has devoted his full
time to evangelism.
At the present time, Butt is the
staff repr esentative for universities
and colleges having intervarsity
chapters in Washington, Oregon,
and northern California.

Invites Frosh Women
All freshmen womeij who are in- |
terested in the YWCA sophomore j
commission are invited to attend a '
aicnic scheduled for June 4, from
> to 7 p. m. Plans for next year's
program will be discussed.
Those who wish to attend are
asked to sign up with the repre
sentative in their individual living
organizations or at the “Y” before
May 28. A fee of 25 cents for the
picnic lunch should be paid to the
representative at that time. Trans
portation will be provided.
There will be no regular soph
omore commission meeting before
the picnic.
