YWCA Cabinef Guests at OSC The University YWCA cabinet traveled to Corvallis last night as guests of the Oregon State round table. The women attended a din ner and meeting for Miss Fern Babcock, national program co ordinator of the YWCA. Miss Babcock will be a guest of the University today and to morrow to discuss program plan ning for student Christian organi zations. She will meet with the Y directors at 11 a.m. today, the Y luncheon club at noon, the advis ory board at 1 p.m. and the Duck ling counselors and junior advisers at 4 p.m. At 5:30 p.m. the Y cab inet is honoring Miss Babcock at a dinner at the Anchorage. Joan Williams is in charge of the schedule. A former regional secretary of the Southwest YWCA, Miss Babcock is also the author of a program book used by both the YWCA and the YMCA. Committee Head Says Weekend Housing Filled Although requests are still com ing in for housing accommodations for mothers and guests during Mother’s Weekend, no more will be accepted at this late date, said Beryl Howard, housing committee chairman. “We have found rooms for all who have requested them, but for those students with last minute guests will have to try to find room in living organizations,” she added. Approximately 30 visitors for the weekend Will be taken in by Eugene townspeople to help alle viate the housing pressure at the University. CAMPUS CALENDAR Student religious council elec tions at the YMCA at 4 p.m. Freshman commission members and participants in the YWCA duckling councilors project meeting with Miss Fern Babcock at the YWCA at 4 p.m. Naval reserve personnel volun teers are needed to assist in ad dressing envelopes at the naval re serve station at 7:30 p.m. today. Portland branch of the Oregon federation committee meeting at noon on Monday upstairs in the Side instead of tonight. Senior class meeting in 207 Chap man hall at 6:30 p.m. Westminster house potluck for all students at 6 p.m. Mothers’ Weekend committee heads will meet at the office of the University photographer in the basement of Johnson hall at 2:30 today for the Oregana. I.S.A. senate meeting tonight at 105 Commerce.
