    jOregana Reported
Ahead of Schedule
Two-thirds of the 1947 Oregana
are now at Irwin Hodson company
in Portland being lithographed, Ed
itor Roy Paul Nelson stated Wed
nesday. “Due to the splendid co
operation of the editorial staff, the
book is way ahead of schedule, and
as far as the staff is concerned, that
part of the Oregana now in Port
land is finished,” he added.
The living organization section is
one of those completed. “Prospects
for those people who have not had
their pictures taken look mighty
dim,” Associate Editor John Ben
neth declared.
This year’s Oregana will have 440
pages plus three full color double
page spreads of campus scenes. Ac
tivities will start with spring term
of 1946 and will continue until the
end of this winter term.
A few more copies of the book are
still available and those desiring to
purchase them may do so at the ed
ucational activities office in McAr
thur court.
Business Manager Robbieburr
Courtney asks that all campus hon
oraries which have bought space in
the Oregana pay for it as soon as
possible.
In 1901, the appropriation for
the Eugene summer school for
teachers was $400.
