Well, pop has gone back home
. . . taken the ear from junior, and
has less money than when he start
ed to Eugene. It was a good week
end with lots doing. Yeoman Mal
colm MacGregor came through with
the King of Hearts over the protests
of “Senator Claghorn” Carmichael
. , . from the south that is . . . that
the only king he will officially rec
ognize is cotton. Jerry Foley who
is one of the 300th best dressed men
in the law school is not anti-social.
Young Foley is held in great rever
ence by fellow barristers. His cur
rent campaign directed against the
Emerald is termed “Foley’s Folly
by his colleagues. The happiest man
alive Saturday night was Delts’
George “the grin” Kikes. He did it
Saturday night at the park when
AOpi Betsy Youmans took his pin.
Wotta cutie! The high country yell
was heard clear to Marcola when
Fij iCammy Echanis hung his brass
on pink palacer Lourana Preston.
L’il Carolyn Tyler has pledged
the “Wednesday and Friday nights
Ladies Club” since Beta Thomas
Edlefson took off to labor in Port
land. He will commute. The Phi Psi
box took another drubbing when
Dick Callahan planted his cop’s
badge on Chi O Joan Cambell. New
versions of the SAE Stomp were
tried at the Park Sat. nite when
Chi OH’s Dodo Misled and Bob Wal
lace put A. Murray to shame. This
dance was called the SAE Stomp
with a 7-Up Shuffle. SPE Jack Mar
shall de-planted and re-planted his
joolry on Hen Hall’s Pat McDowell
in the short space of hours, 12. The
mammoth cup awarded to the Sig
Ep’s for winning the campus clean
up during dads’ day has attracted
the eye of Hubie Williamson for use
as bronze measuring glass for coca
cola. Hearts broke all over Eugene
when Gamma Phi’s Sally ’de braid3”
Timmins retired from circulation.
Some Feegee’s have all the luck.
Even saw “POP” Rogers at the
Park. His old bones sounded like
"%ie door of Inner Sanctum when he
danced by . . . but can he pick ’em!
