In Up-to-Date Version
An embarrassed professor re
vealed his political temper Thurs
day as he misquoted John Dry
den, the political satirist, before
members of a class in survey in
English literature.
The anonymous member of the
English department was defining
the phrase "dreaming saints”
from a passage in "Absalom and
Achitophel:”
A numerous host of dreaming
saints succeed,
Of the true old enthusiastic
breed:
’Gainst form and order they
their pow’r imply,
Nothing to build, and all things
to destroy.
A roar overcame the sleepy at
tentiveness of the group as he
blurted in conclusion: "... dream
ing hard-headed Republicans.”

rather sentimental play. The Han
son family is the kind of a family
many people wish they were a part
of. ‘I Remember Mama’ gives them
the chance to glimpse this appeal
ing family relationship.”
Production dates are set for Feb
ruary 7, 8, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15.
Horace W. Robinson, director of the
L'niversity theater, directs the play,
and James Bronson, senior drama
major, is assistant director.
