Movies to Show Campus Activities Technicolor movies of all phases of University life are now being photographed on the campus, ac cording to Les Anderson, alumni secretary. They will be shown to prospective students and alumni groups. Bert Moore, who is in charge of the photography and makes all ap pointments for the pictures, will write the script. The film will show all the major activities of the social, athletic, and academic calendar, including such events as Homecoming, football games, and commencement. Dr. Curtis Reid, head of the visual in struction division of the state board of higher education, at Corvallis, is in charge of the actual taking of the silent film. Students are needed to help out in many of the scenes to be taken, and anyone interested in appearing in the picture should contact Bert Moore at 761-W. San Francisco (Continued from pane one) and plan his painting carefully, then carry the final execution through with swift, deft strokes, giving the painting a quality of spontaneity which accounts for so much of its charm. Offer Promise Mr. Baldinger, faculty chairman of the exhibition committee, said that he believes that these paint ings, which represent the San Fran cisco bay area, offer much promise for the future of art on the Pacific coast. He finds particularly pregnant with the atmosphere, even the feel and smell of this coastal environ ment, “Fish” of Mine Okubo and “T. I.” of Bob Winston. Marijane Eaton, student chair man of the exhibition committee, commented, “Water color is mod ern. It fits in with the mood and tempo of the times. The collection •is representative of what is going on now.” UO Fraternities (Continued from page one) ner, Richard Davis, Wayne Fer guson, Edward Goffard, Kenneth Johnson, Robert Johnston, Jack McCracken, Billy Peckover, and Randall Poison.
