A half-hour comedy, an inter
view featuring University Regis
trar C. E. Avery, and a program
of pop tunes will be presented over
the University hour from 4 to 5
p. m. today over KOAC.
“Three Strikes You’re Out” by
Vernon Delston, will be given by
the Radio Workshop players from
A to 4:30.
Cast of the comedy includes Alan
Foster. Pat King, Paul Marcotte,
Manuel Golemis, Dave Waite, John
^MacDonald, Dick Shelton, Theo
jpeikert, and Jack Puffinbarger.
The program will be produced by
Eloise M. Rockwell, senior in Eng
lish.
C. E. Avery, University regis
trar, will be interviewed by Gordon
'Halstead on the recently adopted
grade system now used on the
eampus. The interview will be
broadcast from 4:30 to 4:45.
The Pops Music program from
4:45 to 5 p. m. produced by Jim
Kays, will feature Tommy White
at the piano playing boogie and
other pop tunes.

New Constitution
Adopted by ISA
A new constitution for the Inde
pendent Students association was
adopted at the senate meeting
Tuesday night in 105 Commerce
building.
Drawn up by a committee select
ed from the senators, the constitu
tion was explained by Clay Myers,
representative from Yeomen, before
being acted upon by the senate.
Among the provisions of the new
constitution are the abolition of the
present executive council and the
creation of standing committees.
According to the new constitu-j
tion, the president and vice-presi
dent will still be elected by the stu
dents in general elections, but their
duties have been changed. The pres
ident will now be the presiding offi
cer in the senate instead of the vice
president, as formerly.
Old Oregon Business.
News Staffs to Organize
Business staff members of Old
Oregon, campus alumni magazine,
will meet at the Old Oregon offices
in Friendly hall tonight at 6:30,
Gloria Grenfell, business manager,
announced yesterday.
Old members of the layout, office,
and selling staffs are particularly
requested to attend.
Harry .GUckman, editor, also
announced that students interest
ed in working with the news de
partment of the magazine will.at
tend an organizational meeting at
4 pan. today in 104 Journalism.
Members of the business staff
will hear the new, simplified selling
program for the year explained by
Miss Grenfell and Jordis EJenke, ad
vertising manager.
Students who have not previously
worked for Old Oregon and who are
interested are also urged to attend,
Miss Grenfell said.
