OSC Will Provide Whiskerino Talent Entertainment for the Whisker ino dance on Saturday night will feature Oregon State sophomore talent in exchange for our sopho more program, Jordis Benke, chair man of the entertainment commit tee announced today. Tom Myer, chairman of the De cember Sophomore Cotillion at OSC will send Cliff McDaniel, popu lar sophomore at OSC to the Igloo Saturday night to act as emcee of the intermission program. Also included in the exchange of college talent will be Betty Jo Grayson and her trio and other entertain ment to take place during the in termission. At this time the winner of the Whiskerino beard brawl will also be named and will receive his award along with the announce ment of the winners of the Betty Co-ed—Joe College contest. The patrons and patronesses of the Whisker dance were also an nounced, Wednesday by Anita Ha ger who is the chairman in charge. There are to be President and Mrs. Harry K. Newburn, Mr. and Mrs. J. Alan Wickham, Dr. and Mrs. E. M. Pallett, Dean and Mrs. V. D. Earl, Mr. and Mrs. George Hall, Chancellor and Mrs. P. E. Packer and Mrs. Marjorie Cunningham. The official chaperones will be Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Hayden. VARSITY SERVICE STATION 13th and Hilyard Streets Eugene, Oregon Archeology Films Billed Tonight by Condon Club Archeological experiments in Il linois will be shown in the Condon club movies tonight at 7:30 p.m. in the alumni hall of Gerlinger. The movies have been especially pre pared by Dr. Cole of the University of Chicago. Dr. L. S. Cressman and Dr. A. F. Whiting of the anthropology de partment will show the films. Re freshments will be served after the meeting. The public is invited to attend, Bob Campbell, club presi dent, announced. Students selected by these com petitive examinations will be of fered entrance in either the Naval Reserve Officers Training corps (NROTC) or the Naval Aviation College program (NACP). Those selecting the former pro gram will attend one of the 52 col leges or universities having NROTC units where they will receive from the government the cost of their tuition, books, and normal fees and $50.00 a month for the four-year period of education. Those selecting the Naval Avia tion College program may go to any accredited university or college of their choice, providing they are ac cepted for entrance, and receive the same government benefits.
