Dr. Beck To Meet f With Film Official Dr. C. P. Beck, professor of psy chology, will confer with a repre sentative of Cecile B. DeMille’s mo tion picture company tomorrow af ternoon on the possibilities of pro ducing a picture on human develop ment. Plans for the release of the film are as yet uncertain, but if agree able arrangements are obtained, the picture will be sponsored by the E. C. Brown memorial trust of the University of Oregon. Dr. Beck will be accompanied by Dr. Adolph Weinzirt, director of so cial hygiene education in the medi cal school, and Mrs. George More head, field secretary of the social hygiene division. Oregon played its first football game in January, 1894. Students May Apply Now For Dorm Housing Students attending the Univer sity and living in temporary hous ing may now apply for dormitory reservations for winter term. Ap plications should be made at the dormitory office in Johnson hall. Under a priority system, students who are registered in the Univer sity will until November 2, have first call on dormitory space. After that date all students now enrolled will be assigned space in order of application. During fall term the veterans’ dormitory was reserved beyond normal capacity, giving as many veterans as possible an opportunity to enter school at the opening of*the present academic year. A second veterans’ dormitory will be opened next term. Both dormitories will be operat ed on the basis of single, double, and triple rooms. Under the new set-up veterans will have more comfortable living conditions than existed this term. It is also anticipated that the cafeteria located between the two veterans’ dorms will be completed for the opening of winter term. Persons not now enrolled in the University who expect to register for winter term must receive clear ance from the registrar’s office be fore applying for rooms in the dor mitories.
