Faculty Tea to Honor New Women Members The Faculty Women’s Club have | planned a tea for this afternoon at 3:30 in Alumni hall in Gerlinger. This is a traditional event honoring women who are new on the faculty and the wives of men who are new on the faculty. Chairman for the tea is Mrs. F. L. Stetson. Standing with the honor guests in the receiving line will be Mrs. Harry K. Newbum, wife of the University president, Mrs. L. O. Wright, president of the Faculty Women’s Club, and Mrs. Paul Packer, wife of the chancellor of the state board of higher education. Deutschmann Handles Two Copy Editing Labs Two laboratory sections of copy editing classes will have Paul J. Deutschmann, news editor of the Eugene Register-Guard, sitting in the “slot.” Mr. Deutschmann made his first appearance on the labora tory copy desk this week. Seven laboratory periods have been scheduled through the week for the 73 copy editing students of Leonard L. Jermain and Hillier Krieghbaum so that each student has one three-hour lab period a week.
