Chairman Lists Musical Numbers, Houses To Perform in ’46 All-Campus Sing The vocal attraction of the first day of the 1946 “State Fair,” the All-Campus Sing, will have chorus es from nine men’s and 24 women s living organizations, Dave Fort miller, Sing committee chairman announced Tuesday. The Sing will be held in McArthur court at 7:30 Friday evening. Working with Fortmiller on his committe are Betty Householder, Barbara Harr, and Bill Yates. Fol lowing is the list of organizations entered in the Friday night pro All-Campus Dinner Climaxes Parade The final stage of the carnival "State Fair” float parade Saturday will be the All-Campus dinner, held on the old campus area at five p.m. The wartime custom of bring ing lunche^ will be discarded this year, dinner chairman Dorothy Rasmussen revealed Monday, and food will be served at the dinner. Tickets for the affair are 40 cents and may be obtained at the Co-op. Living organization house managers will receive their tickets in blocs. Highlight of the dinner will be the coronation of Queen Pat Met calf. Three honor societies, Mortar Board, senior women; Friars, se nior men; and Asklepiads, pre medics, will all tap new members during the dinner. Herb Widmer and his combo will provide music for the outdoor event. Assisting Miss Rasmussen on her committee are Delores Ray, food; Harriet Tozier, tickets; and June Clayton, publicity. Alpha Xi Delta, “I’ll Be Seeing You,” Barbara Paulus; University House, “All Through the Night,” Sunlight Serenade Scheduled Sunday The grand finale for the “State Fair’’ Junior Weekend festivities will be the annual sunlight sere nade, Pat Metcalf, serenade com mittee chairman announced Tues day. The music fete will be pre sented Sunday in the outdoor thea ter of the music building. The serenade is open to all, the chairman said. In case of rain, it will be held in the music auditori um. Members of Phi Beta and Mu Phi Epsilon, music honoraries, will serve refreshments. Master of ceremonies for the serenade is Bob Moran. Included on the program will be: the Theta Chi quartet, the Chi Omega trio, Rose Zena Latta, lyric soprano; Jim McMullen, baritone; Janet Schaffer, violinist; and t.h'e two winning choruses from the all campus sing. Robbie Burr Warrens is assist ing Miss Metcalf in making the ar rangements for the serenade. Under the noonday sun, our playsuits are strokes of genius.
