Buy Her Somthing Nice For EASTER at ffiviatowQ JEWELRY STORE 620 Willamette Smokey Reviews U 0 Life I tell you, spring term practically throws me. And with this lame foot I absolutely can’t keep tab on everything that's happening. For instance last weekertd—there I was nursing my rheumatism while everyone else party-picnicked-partied. Monday morning I went down to Doc’s and had a long chat with Al, though. He sort of caught me up on what I’d missed.. Still can’t get over the boys who sunk a hundred dollars I want to know is where did they find it,'and how many sandwiches did they have to buy to get it? How come the current shortage around here? Did the northern branch fall off their hay wagon? There’s Always Friday Friday night it seemed like I was sitting in a vacuum. People went off in all four directions to wards the "outskirts of town.” And so early, too. I hear the cover charge starts at eight. It’s me for the simple life with a water chaser. As A1 and I were chewing the rag, Fritz came along with some discouraging news. More dogs on fraternity row, and conditions are so crowded now. Think it’s about time we approached the the plant ing commission about more trees. Saturday, Too Saturday was really good though. Oregon’s long cloistered coeds took to the great outdoors. Back in the spring of ’44 and ’45 I thought they’d given up such fetching sports as baseball, tennis, etc. But noticed they were “fetch ing” again Saturday. So Saturday afternoon wore on into evening and another siege of "get out of town before it’s too late.” That Cover Charge, Again You know I went to a picnic once. That cured me. I don’t mind a cozy fire in an evenly heated room, but "ah wilderness” is not for me. After Honrs Sometimes I almost feel softy for the feminine half of college life. As A1 was telling me, the fun really didn’t get started Until after closing hours Saturday. What broke loose then, I’m too much of a—you know what Greek letter fraternity gentleman—to say. But frankly speaking, the boys were whooping it up. Sunday morning I felt find due to my pious life.
