    Veterans Told Steps
For UO Registration
Special intruetions have been
issued recently from the dean of
Aten's office for veterans who ex
pect to register at the University
of Oregon for the first time spring
term.
Veterans who do not have their
certificates of eligibility and en
titlement and have not made ap
plication for them should apply to
the U. S. Veterans' administration,
Room 115. physical education
building in order to secure them.
They should apply at the regis
trar’s office on the second floor of
Johnson hall for admission to the
University.
After acceptance they may pro
ceed with the registration as regu
lar students, buying their own
books and supplies. Receipts should
be saved so that refunds can be
made on the purchases.
Veterans are requested to bring

! manner. Tuition and related fees
will be paid by the government.
All necessary books and supplier

after the veterans have filled out
their study programs on special
forms which are filed with the
Co-op.
Any item which is required for
all students in the course or cur

plan. Recommended or even highly
recommended items are not pur

to buy more complete or expensive
items than the ones required, they
must pay the difference.
If the veterans do not complete
the courses they may be asked to
return the items or refund the
complete purchase price of the
items.
Veterans are asked to remember
that during the first academic year
at the University they- may use
any course as a refresher course,
indicating noncredit status by an

of the veterans’ administration.
