Cer. iCih and Aider Wesley House to Locate on Onyx Wesley House, which is sponsor ed by the Methodist church, will be located at 1337 Onyx street on September 1. The property on which the house was formerly lo cated at 1258 Kincaid has been sold, and Wesley Foundation is purchasing a new house through pledges from local and state Meth odist churches, Mrs. Don Durland (Velita Estey), president of the foundation, reports. The student director, Mrs. Paul Hurlecker (Mary Beth Carpenter), will live at the house; there will also be six rooms for Methodist girls and two garages for rent. "With increased facilities for study ing, meetings and receration, the house will be open at all times to all students. With the house, now used as a private dwelling,, is a spacious backyord with a fire place. Mrs. Durland announced that the Wesley cabinet will make plans for the year at a twc-day retreat the week previous to school opening. World War II Vet Joins YMCA Staff Lynn Hutchinson, assistant pro fessor of education and war vet eran, lias been appointed director of student activities of the Univer sity YMCA. He will work with the student president of the “Y,” Ed Marshall of Pendleton. Mr. Hutchinson was a lieutenant in the air corps before his release under medical discharge in 1944. He had done two years of gradu ate work at the University before entering- the army and holds a mas ter’s degree from Utah State.
