Under Way
A new physical plant shop build
ing, the first new construction on
the campus since 1939, is being
built on Onyx street just east of
the press building.
Total cost of the project will be
about 550,000. The contract price
is $34,000, and the cost of the util

The building is paid for by direct

It will be a one-story building of

house carpentry, plumbing, heat
ing, electric and painting shops.
Supervising engineer is Dr. Will

Lawrence, Portland architectural
firm designed the building.
