Ducks Head for Vandal Wilkins Top Scorer As Hoop Race Opens Scoring honors for this year’s preseason schedule go to rangy Dick Wilkins, the 19-year-old ex-marine who scored 263 points in 22 games. Wilkins and Captain Bob Hamilton were the two big guns in the Webfoot attack. Hamilton trailed Wilkins by one point with 262. Wilkins had an average of 12 markers a game and Hamilton had 11.9 points average for each contest. ±ven ways, me b-ioor, i-mcn cen ter was third with 188 points. The two other regulars, Jim Bartelt and Del Smith, each had 126.
