Meteorites Subject Of Friday Speech Meteors and meteorites will be discussed by Dr. A. H. Kunz, head of the chemistry department, Fri day, March 31, at 8 p.m. in a lec ture entitled “Missils from the Heavens.” In his spare moments from his duties as professor of chemistry Dr. Kunz has developed a deep interest in astronomy. With, a keen nose for news of what’s going on in the heavens the speaker has gathered much infor mation about those mysterious visitors from other parts of the universe. Students, faculty, and towns people interested in meteors and in meteorites are invited to attend the lecture, which will be given in room 101 Chapman hall. Plaque to Honor Honoring University women in the service, a plaque is to be se cured to hang in Gerlinger hall. Arrangements will be taken care of by Phi Theta Upsilon, junior women’s honorary, and heads of houses. The latter will be in charge of obtaming the names of Univer sity service women and their re spective branches of the service. As announced by the speaker, totemism and the question of whe ther this practice among primitive social groups is due to cultural or linguistic factors will form the main theme for the lecture.
