Bonds Will Elect U6 Victor/ Girl l A University of Oregon Victory gii-1 will be elected in January through a campus-wide bond sale sponsored by the war board, announced Mary Bentley, chair man of bonds and stamps. Each of the women’s living or ganizations will put up a candi date who will be supported by the bend purchasers of members of her house. The winner will be chosen solely on the basis of the amount of bonus to her credit. Provided receipts are secured, bonds bought during December fill count toward the election. Receipts for these purchases Ire needed to determine the dates jin which the bonds were bought. Jhose bought prior to December will not be counted. Student To Present ]owsmg Room Music Ellery McClatchy, pre-meteor ogy student from Fresno, Cali irnia, will be the first soldier udent to present a browsing i >om record concert, to be held Sunday from 4 to 5 p.m. j The program will be: Shosta kovich Quartet, Shostakovich: 1st iympftiony; Harl McDonald, 1st Symphony The Santa Fe Trail. The next Sunday, December 12, will witness the final record con cert for this term. It will feature selections from Handel's “Mes siah,” which have been contrib uted from the record library of Dr. and Mrs. James Stewart.
