Students Slave For Art Bazaar The art school has become a beehive of industry during the past few days as art students put finishing touches on articles to be sold at the annual art bazaar in McArthur court December 3. Lights are seen burning in .the art building far into the night, and the casual observer begins to realize that artists, inspite of stories surrounding their tem peraments, have the ability to “get in and plod’’ when the sit uation demands. Emphasis is now being placed on the final firing and glazing of pottery, and the work already finished shows the fine crafts manship that goes into each ar ticle. Some students have been concentrating on Christmas cards, while others have been cutting and mounting pictures with harrassed eyes cocked to ward the December 3 deadline. Edith Onthank, president of the Allied Art league, has an nounced that prospective pur chasers of paintings should go to McArthur court before 5 p.m. on Friday in order to make their selections in good light. The bazaar, an annual event with the art school, will be open from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. __•__ Concert Series (Continued from pane one) The Roth string quartet is made up of four-stringed instruments.
