This will be a different sort of school year, and more fun than ever! U of O will
work and play hand in hand with Uncle Sam for Army (and Air Corps) men are
now sharing our campus. Ducks cooperated last year, as they will this, in num
erous activities such as Red Cross, USO, the war loan campaign, veterans schol
astic fund, and drives for cigarettes, cans, and stockings . . . each important to
the war effort. Yes, it "pays to cooperate". That's why you can save as much as
5% on your purchases at U of O's student-owned cooperative store.

These five students see that the store is managed for the benefit of
the students. They are elected by members of the student body and
meet each month to determine the general policy of the Co-op, and
in the spring decide the amount of the Rebate. Any student may
attend the annual open meeting.
