Two things on our minds to
day—to retract one announce
ment and to make another one.
Due to a crowded social calen
dar, and various other reasons,
etc., the Sport's Day announced
last week has been cancelled till
next year . . . which gives the
plans a chance to really start
cooking in the heat of summer!!
!!!And in answer to a call for
somethin’ new 'n' different,—
La-dees and gen-tuh-men, we
take great play-shuh in announc
ing—a Tennis Court Dance on
May 7, to be sponsored by WAA
Co. So come, waltz on the as
phalt at the court cavorts. In the
meantime, we’re spending our
spare moments inventing a new
dance step entitled the “Fore
hand Swing.”
More persoi^l glimpses ....
Prexy Janet Ross and Connie
Walters attempting to carry a
15-foot long rug up four flights
of stairs to the new WAA room.
By applying their training in en
gineering, psychology, and ele
mentary tactics in transportating
Movable Objects, they finally
reached the second step. A small
child came along, offered assist
ance, tucked the rug under her
arm (so to speak), and trotted
up to the third floor. Astound
ing! !!
