Dr. Theodore Kratt, dean of Oregon’s school of music, who saw the production in Chicago, says, “It is very, very good. You’d be amazed how the narrator can take the part of the scenery. It makes me see how we could pro duce opera on our stage.” Narrator for 9 o’clock Produced by the Nine o’clock Opera company, the opera is pre sented in English by a cast of seven persons so that audiences all over America can laugh at the story at the same time that they enjoy the music. Oregon Dads Begin Weekend Of Fun, Food and Hospitality By EDITH NEWTON Hi Dad! ... is the welcome cry today as Oregon dads and mothers stream on to the campus to celebrate a long-awaited Dads’ Day and spend a "maybe last” fun and food-filled week- ' end with sons and daughters. The weekend will officially move into high gear with the registration of dads at 10 today in Johnson. 'Hepcat Revue’ Draws WAAC As an additional drawing card to the postponed Kwama saga of campus defense, “Paging Hitler ina Hepcat,’’ which will definitely be held Tuesday at 4 in Gerlin ger, a WAAC, Miss Betty Her ring, will speak to the assembled women. Miss Herring will be available for conferences in the men’s lounge in Gerlinger Wednesday from 10 to 12 and from 1 to 3.
