Military Orders Issue Reserves Get New Advisers Winter Term By TED BUSH Comes the revolution! Revolutionary indeed is the move made by the armed forces advisory board in assigning all lower division men who are now enlisted in reserve classes to new advisers according to the service in which they enrolled. Advisers will be in their offices Thursday evening from 7 to 10, and Friday afternoon from 3 to 5:30 for conference. Mr. Turn bull, Mr. Huber, Mr. Montgom ery, Dr. Beck, Mr. Maddus, and Mr. Franchere will be unable to keep the Thursday night appoint ments, but will be in their offices on Friday night at the same time. Upper Division Upper division men should con sult Dr. Carl F. Kossack, campus armed forces representative, in his office, 107 Deady, to obtain information on special courses which might be helpful to them. Dr. Kossack will be available at the same time as the other ad visers. Men should see their advisers before the holidays so that they may use care in planning their course for the ensuing term. If courses are planned carefully, men may qualify for one of the special service branches of the service arm which they repre sent and also meet University re auirements. "F” Passes Those who have grades of “F” may be retained on the deferred list if there are extenuating cir cumstances. These men must see their advisers before the end of the term and explain the reasons for such grades. Whether cir cumstances warrant considera tion will be decided upon by the committee. There will be no other means of having a poor GPA waived. Authority for reorganization of the adviser system is provided in a bulletin which describes the duties of an armed services rep resentative. The bulletin states “the duties of the armed services representatives shall include . . .
