Final Touches AddedtoMurai A iding finishing touches to the mural he began last spring is Air. David J. AIcCosh of the art and architecture school, assistant pro fessor of drawing and painting. The mural, done by Air. Ale Cosh. by commission of the fed eral section of fine arts, will be installed in the post office of Beresford, South Dakota this winter. The professor will super vise the installation. S-. bject matter of the mural is a farm scene typical of the farms in the Beresford district. The painting is approximately S feet by 20 feet. As described by Air. Andrew AT, Vincent, professor of drawing and painting, the color tone of the work is fairly high. He also explained that color was em ployed structurally as well as dec* ratively by the artist and that it was used in such a way as to show the vigor of the scene it portrayed. This is the fourth mural that Air McCosh has done. One is in Kelso, Washington, and the other two are in the building of the de partment of the interior in Wash ington, D. C. Hazing Given Wrong Twin An attempted "freshman upris ing” in Sherry Ross hall has died away and again peace reigns su preme. Led by Gerald Unkeles, Port land frosli, a group of freshmen decided to even up the score after being the subjects of upperclass men's hazings. Each day two up perclassmen were selected to be dunked in the shower. After sev eral such affairs word got around that the Order of O would take care of offenders. An informal hacking session' for the freshmen’s benefit fol lowed. Only fly in the ointment • was that the upperclassmen found Gerald’s identical twin brother, Harold, and gave him a generous hacking instead. Man Disrupts Womens P E Ignorance may be bliss, but women in the 3 p.m. gym classes, Thursday, felt that certainly was no excuse when an unidentified male burst into the dressing room, took one look, and burst back out again. Confronting a bewildered by stander with a wide-eyed stare, and "Where in—Gerlinger—is the dean’s office?” he disappeared in the direction of University street.
