hold the second in a series of
study groups on the topic
’ “Church History.” Dr. Quirinus
Breen of the social science and
history departments will be the
leader of this interesting ten
week series.
Both students and townspeople
have been invited to attend the
meetings.

Alumna of Class of *85
Dies at Eugene Home
Mrs. Anna Patterson Potter, a
member of the first class of the
University of Oregon in its open
ing year and a member of the
class of 1885, died last Wednes
day at the age of 81 in her home
in Eugene.
Mrs. Potter's parents came
west in the first wagon-train in
1843. She was born in Eugene
September 13, 1861, and after
graduation .she taught school in
Lane county. Funeral services
were held here Friday.
