Gives $30 for $9
Admission to the naval air school game on September 26
will be included on the student athletic card, according to an
announcement by Oge Young, chairman of the drive. A booth
will be set up by the student entrance gate at Multnomah
stadium in Portland tha forenoon and afternoon of the game,
Young stated.
The student athletic card offers $30 worth of athletic
entertainment for $9 plus federal
tax. It guarantees entrance into
every home and Portland cmtest
in every sport, varsity and frosh,
played by the University. In addi
tion there is a reduction of $1.50
on the ticket to the Oregon State
fray at Corvallis.

As an example of the value of
"^3 athletic card, consider the
Ittotball season. Joe and Jose
phine Webfoot pay $3.30 for this
period, including the federal tax.
That price entitles them to ad
mission to the Idaho game, $1.65;

the UCLA Homecoming game,
$1.65; the Washington game at
Portland, $2.50; the St. Marys
Naval air school game at Port
land, $2.20; a $1.50 reduction on
the $2.50 traditional “big game”
with OSC at Corvallis; and a
tentatively scheduled game with
Willamette on October 17 for
$1.10. The frosh games with the
OSC Rooks at Portland and here
for 75 cents apiece rounds out the
home schedule.
