Carol Bird, ’42, said “yes” to
Warren Phillips, '42, and they
were married May 31, in Eugene.
Carol was a member of Orides
and Warren a member of Yeo
men and Sigma Delta Rho. They
are living in Eugene.
Blanche Gustavson, a former
member of Alpha Xi Delta and
Pi Lambda Theta, and Glenn
Williams were married the eve
of graduation, May 31, in Eu
gene. Blanche graduated last
year, and is living in Eugene.
Marjorie Schnellbacher, a grad
uate of the University of Oregon,
and Lieutenant George Cartier,
stationed at Fort Benning, Geor
gia, were married June 2, in Eu
gene. Mrs. Carter is a former
member of Alpha Gamma Delta.
The couple are living in Port
Benning.
Vivian Pelman, who attended
the University, and Richard Mo
shofsky were married May 29 in
Portland, where they are making
their home.
On June 1, Orsa Lee Toll, who
attended the U. of O. and was a
member of Zeta Tau Alpha so
rority, wed William Thomsen at a
ceremony in Portland. The couple
are living in Eugene.
News to many was the mar
riage of Echo Tomseth, a gradu
ate of the University and a mem
ber of Phi Mu, to William Steg
ner, March 3, in Goldendale,
Washington. The couple are mak
ing their home in Eugene.
Helen Sutherland and Robert
Potwin, both graduates of the
University were married at West
minster house in Eugene on June
14. They are living in Portland.
Oregon’s Margaret Kortge
and Archie Zarewski became
bride and groom at a ceremony
in The Dalles on June 3. Margar
et was a member of Sigma Kap
pa, and Archie a member of Phi
Kappa Psi. They are living in
Seattle.
