Prom Saturday As the last day before Junior Weekend dawns, Prom Head Les Anderson announced final plans for the annual Junior hop. Danc ing Friday night to Art Holman’s music the Promenaders will wit ness the presentation of the Koyl Mid Gerlinger cups, see a varied and full program. The Koyl cup, presented each year to the outstanding junior man on the campus, will be awarded by L. K. Shumaker, as sistant professor of education. Members of the Koyl cup com mittee who will make the selec tion are: Dc-an Virgil D. Earl, Anse Cornell, Jessie Bond, and Calvin Crumbaker. At the same time the Gerlinger cup, awarded to the outstanding junior woman, will be presented by Dean Hazel P. Schwering. On tb^ Gerlinger cup committee are Mrs. F. L. Chambers, Mrs. W. F. Jewett, Mary Perkins, Elizabeth Steed, and Billie Christiansen. Occupying the third stage of the “Of Thee I Sing’’ set-up will be Queen Eleanor Engdahl and her court. The orchestra will oc cupy the first two stages and will dedicate one number as a Queen’s Waltz to Queen Ellie. Tickets for the Prom are now on sale at all men’s living or ganizations. Students Must Sign for Sugar Today Every University student over 13 years of age and not living with his parents or guardians all year must register by 8 o'clock tonight at any local grade school for their sugar rationing card. Students in dorms, co-ops, sor orilies, fraternities, ami "boarding houses must register if they are over 18. Students under IS must be registered by their parents or legal guardian. With the exception of close relatives, no one can register for anyone else, and even if a person is not planning to use any suga e he should register, since this reg istration may serve for rationing;' of other items.
