Oregon Said In Top Shape By HARRY GLICKMAN “Honest John” Warren sends his University of Oregon fresh man basketball team against the Oregon State Rooks at McAr thur tonight in its final home ap pearance of the season. Game time is 8 o’clock. Warren has been drilling his charges daily in an effort to be in top shape for the Rooks. The game will be third of the “little civil war” series. The two teams clash at Corvallis Saturuay night to conclude hostilities. Split First Two In the two previous encount ers each team has won one game. The Beaver yearlings won the first game at Corvallis ri by a score of 38-30. The Frosh won the second contest at Eu gene by a 44-35 count. A possible change in the Ore gon starting lineup may be made at the center position where Jack Hannam, Don Asselstine, and Royal Denton are waging a battle for the starting nod. Hannam has held the starting post in recent games but the other two are pressing hard. Otherwise, the starting lineup will probably remain intact, with Bob Erlandson and Roy Seeborg, forwards; and A1 Popick and Sammy Crowell, guards.
