The price is cheap, too; some of them sell for as little as a buck. Price Which brings us to the all-im povtant question of price. You can get a pipe for two bits. You can get one for a dollar, and you can get beautifully matched sets for several hundred. As a rule, however, a pipe costing between ?3 and $5 will be of a definitely7 superior variety. Moreover it is not always the highly advertised, well-known brands that make the big hit. A lesser known brand may contain better materials than some of the big-name pro ducts. Now for a parting word about the stuff that goes into pipes. Most men smoke tobacco. Eugene Farmers Creamery Phone 638 Christmas Plays Fill Radio Workshop Air Two original plays, written by Jane Hooker and Ted Harmon, will be presented by the radio workshop this Thursday from the University extension studios over KOAC, from 7:30 to 8:30, revealed Marvin Krenk, instruc tor in speech. “Father Forgive Them,” by Jane Hooker, brings an old Bible story up to date, while “Four Were Walking,” by Ted Harmon, is a largely poetic play, making use of many of the newer tech niques for experimental drama. In this play, for the first time in the workshop history, the sound of a London air raid is being pro duced.
