a New Plays Invade University Theater Season tickets to University l theater plays will be available this year, giving the purchaser four plays for the price of three, drama division officials an nounced Monday. Holders of the $1.50 season tickets will be al lowed to select seats at Univer sity theater productions before sales are thrown open to the gen eral public. The theater will continue its policy of offering outstanding plays, division officials said, add ing that although most of them will be from the contemporary theater, there will be some of the more worthwhile of the older plays. They cited recent produc tions of such plays as “Berkeley Square,” “Night Must Fall,” “George Washington Slept Here,” “Dangerou s Corner,” “Touchwood,” “Shining Hour,” and “The Trial of Mary Dugan,” as examples of this policy. As soon as production rights are released the division will con sider presentation of “Arsenic and Old Lace,” “My Sister Ei leen,” “Claudia,” “The Corn Is Green,” “Life With Father,” and “Watch on the Rhine.” The production rights to the ; following plays, which are under 5 immediate consideration, have been released, “Philadelphia Sto ry,” and “The Yellow Jacket.” Season tickets will be sold in i McArthur court, during registra tion.
